More Farmer's Wife blocks!!!
#53 Jackknife
I really like this one. When I first look at it, it looks like a star and I think stars are my favorite type of quilt block.
#54 Kitchen Woodbox
I promise the color choices looked better before they were cut. Oh well, it is a block done. This one was super easy to put together.
I have two friends who are having babies soon. I wanted to make a few things for them. I started with the girl baby!
Baby legs!! Oh the cute. I used Sunshine Yarns Classic sock in Southern Plantation. Perfect baby girl colors.
I just cast on tonight for a baby boy hat. I am not sure about the Baby Legs for a boy. What do you think?
Time to get working on that baby hat. Want to have it finished before the baby gets here.

Farmer Friday
I really did try to post this on Friday but blogger was giving me some troubles.
Over on the Farmer's Wife flickr group, we are getting back to business. They are on Week 28 and should have 56 blocks made. I do have 56 blocks so I am hopping back in caught up!!
Seeing them all laid out together I notice that I need a few more of the dark brown. But I sure am happy that I have that many done!!
Sewing has been pretty slow lately. The leg doesn't like it much. I did sew for about 20 minutes yesterday and then I had to ice. But I am going to try to work a little each day.

Farming Again, Week 22
More farming time!! I got back to the sewing machine and sewed up a few more. I counted today and I have a total of 51 squares. Only 90 to go!!
Garden Path #43
This one was a bit tricky or icky. Not sure which. I had a hard time getting the diamond in the middle without there being creases. So, the creases are just gonna stay!
Then came #44 Gentleman's Fancy
Nasty snow! Makes my pictures so dark!
I also finished another traveling scarf. I waited until I was done with the plague before I touched it!!

Farmer's Wife Week Eight!!
Is the poor farmer getting a divorce from me? Nope, we just had a separation over the summer. That means I need to spend a lot of time on this project now!
I finally found time to work on blocks this week (and a day that was not too rainy or windy in photo them).

#16 Calico Puzzle
Yesterday was the Dig Pink volleyball games. The girls raised over $6000 for breast cancer research. Way to go girls!! They also won their games which is a plus. The fans were great. Most everyone was dressed in pink, and some of the boys painted themselves pink. Teenaged boys. You gotta love 'em.
We had a bake sale and ,of course, I had to bake a few things. Fun!!!
Now I am off to the gym!
Happy Crafting!!!
